Parco San Giuliano is a metropolitan waterfront park designed by AD+A, Inc. that converts an under-utilized industrial area into a recreational, educational, and cultural center that connects the city of Venice with mainland Italy. The master plan, widely debated and publicized, was unanimously approved by the City Council in January 1996 and integrated with the urbanistic plans of the city. The 1,400 acre park now under construction received international acclaim from Architectural Record as “Venice’s boldest urban gesture in a century...”
